Lake Nakuru National Park

Nestled amidst lush, forested grasslands and the Great Rift Valley bottom is the stunning Lake Nakuru National Park. The broad natural diversity and diverse ecosystems, which span from Lake Nakuru itself to the nearby escarpment and scenic ridges, are appealing to visitors. This is a great place to go on game drives, hikes, picnics, and bird viewing.

The  lake is highly saline but supports a habitat rich in bio diversity including a variety of aquatic flora and fauna. Millions of flamingoes inhabit the lake hence the name “pink lake” while the terrestrial part of the park supports a large number of other African plain mammals. The Park is also a sanctuary of the white and black rhinos and Rothschild’s Giraffe.
