This honeymoon safari is a 5 days safari that covers best of Kenya, with two nights in Maasai Mara, 1 night in Lake Nakuru and 2 nights in Amboseli and accommodation in a tented camp. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe that over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, and many kinds of antelopes and elephants.
Nairobi - Maasai Mara
Pick up from your hotel in the morning and a briefing session with our tour driver/guide. Drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve as you enjoy the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley. Maasai Mara game reserve is in the northern part of the Serengeti, one of Kenya’s most favored game-viewing areas. It is the Africa of the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hills. Afternoon game drive to see the sundowner as you rail the Big 5 ,Lions in large prides, Elephants, rhinos, leopards and buffalos. Mara also hosts over 450 species of bird including the national bird of Kenya, the lilac breasted roller bird and other nocturnal birds. Return to Goshen Mara camp for dinner and overnight.
Full Day at Maasai Mara
After an early breakfast,leave the camp with a picnic lunch as you wil have a full day in the reserve.Explore the park in search of the big 5. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural w orld takes place.This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna - lion, cheetah, wild dog,jackal, hyena and vultures.Return to Goshen Mara Camp for dinner and overnight.
Maasai Mara -Lake Nakuru
Have a pre-breakfast game drive from 6:30 am to 9:00 am. Then return to camp for late breakfast and leave the camp and proceed to Lake Nakuru. You will have an option of a boat ride at Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake, to see hippos and many birds. (This is optional and is charged 20usds per person.)Later, drive to Nakuru where you arrive late in the evening. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Lanet Matfarm Camp.
Lake Nakuru-Amboseli
After early morning breakfast, proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park known for its millions of flamingoes and other water birds. Leave Nakuru after the morning game drive to Nairobi. Have lunch in Nairobi and leave Nairobi at 2:00 pm for Amboseli National Park. Arrive in Amboseli at 6:00 pm. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Kimana Tented Camp.
Amboseli- Nairobi
after an early-morning breakfast,with a packed lunch. Proceed to your game drive and if weather allows you will have the best views of Mt Kilimanjaro. Later.You will check out of the park at around 1pm. Amboseli is famous for the good view of highest snow capped mountain in Africa. It also offers a chance to see the biggest and large herds of free ranging elephants and other game animals. Drive to Nairobi and arrive at around 5.30pm when we drop you off at the hotel or the airport.
