Overview

3-Day Maasai Mara Midrange Safari from $790 | Group Joining Tour Kenya

Better camp. Better beds. Same lions. The Mara Midrange is the step between ‘budget first safari’ and ‘I’ve done this before and know what I want.’ You’re sharing a vehicle with fellow travelers, your lodge is a genuine mid-range property with en-suite rooms, and the Mara itself — as always — is extraordinary.”

Same iconic Mara. Upgraded comfort. The Mara Midrange delivers everything the Mara Starter does — the Big Five, the plains, the dawn game drives — but in a mid-range lodge with proper en-suite bathrooms, upgraded bedding, and a dining room rather than a mess tent. Ideal for travelers who want the group joining social dynamic but don’t want to compromise on where they sleep.

Three days in the Mara is enough. Two full game drives per day means 12 hours of prime wildlife viewing time. In that window, the Mara almost always delivers everything on your list.

WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS TOUR

The perfect step up for travelers who want comfort without going fully private. Group joining means you share the experience with fellow safari lovers — and the stories that emerge from a shared Mara drive are half the reason people come back.

Our midrange group joining safari uses dedicated mid-level lodge accommodation — think proper beds, hot showers, and a real restaurant — while maintaining the social and cost benefits of a shared vehicle format. This tour is ideal for solo travelers aged 25–55, couples on their first or second Africa trip, and travelers who have done a budget safari and want to upgrade the comfort tier without paying for full private.
