The park has one of the most diverse floras in East Africa. It harbors 10 tree species that don’t occur anywhere else in the country.
The Park’s forest is home to nine distinct species of primates in addition to the critically endangered mountain gorillas. These consist of L’Hoest’s monkey, olive baboon, black-and-white colobus, and chimpanzees. Elephants exist, but they are rarely spotted. There Sometimes bushbuck and other species of forest duiker that can be seen. The park boasts an amazing inventory of birds and butterflies.

Therefore Bwindi impenetrable National Park safari is a perfect safari for last minute travelers. Also those on a tight budget seeking to combine a gorilla experience with a typical wildlife safari in East Africa.
The safari is action packed, adventurous and full of excitement.
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Arrive early to begin your morning drive to the park, which is situated in the southwest of Uganda.
You will make a quick stop in Mbarara town during your journey to have lunch and, if you'd like, do some shopping before continuing on. The stunning scenery beyond the city is one of Uganda's other breathtaking features that you will see while driving. You will check into the lodging after arriving in the park, have dinner, and spend the night there.
Mountain Gorilla Tracking and Community Walk
The day you will get a close-up look at the magnificent gorillas. Since you will be spending a lot of time in the forest looking for these apes, get up early to give yourself time to have breakfast, prepare your packed lunch, and drink water. It is expected of you to arrive punctually at the park headquarters for your briefing. After that, you will embark on your first walk, which could take anywhere from two to six hours, contingent on the movements of the animals. You are given a full hour to observe the animals as they roam around and respond to your presence in different ways. It is at this time that you will see why these apes are referred to as cousins to man since there are favorable similarities to human character. After the hike, return to the park headquarters and, at last, your accommodation. After getting ready, go for a community walk to observe the Batwa people and their customs. You can enjoy their traditional songs and dances as they perform them for you. After dinner, spend the night in the lodging where you spent the night before.
Second Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
The only difference between today's plan and yesterday's is that, upon arriving at the forest following the morning briefing, you will be trekking with a different group than you did yesterday. As you wrap up your time in the forest, shoot pictures of this group as well. Following your final hike, return to the car and go to Lake Bunyonyi, which offers amazing views and additional activities like kayaking. After checking in, have a shower, have dinner, and spend the night at the Acadia Cottages or the Bunyonyi Overland Camp.
Transfer to Kampala
Get up early enough to enjoy your delicious morning meal. Head over to Lake Bunyonyi for a breathtaking boat trip that will give you a view of some of the lake's islands as well as the well-pronounced hills that encircle the lake and many other picturesque vistas. Then, as our double trekking safari is coming to an end, you will pack up and head to Kampala, stopping along the way for lunch and any other stops you would like to make. When you arrive in Kampala, you will be taken to a hotel if you choose to extend your stay, or dropped off at the airport in time for your flight.
